Spanish newspaper clippings and bold color scraps on a painting I found in a Calle de la Cabeza dumpter. The date that comes with the previous artist's signature reads 1975. The piece is in an Art Studio in Madrid - Pintapies. 
 
Collecting the colors that I needed from the negative spaces in magazines was the most time intensive  process for this piece. Ripped newspaper fills the whitecaps.
 
This piece was the first time I looked a materials only with respect to their color. Bits of paper make the entire spectrum, and they collectly bring this piece back to life.
